Introduction to the Client and the Industry

doTERRA is an established manufacturer of top-quality essential oils that has been creating standards of excellence in the cosmetics and health industry for years. The brand symbolizes elegance, naturalness and modernity, and each product is the result of careful attention to quality and effectiveness. In order to streamline sales processes and strengthen its presence in domestic and international markets, doTERRA decided to migrate its store from WooCommerce to the Shopify platform.

Project Goals and Challenges

The main goal of the project was to create a new, advanced sales system that:

  • Offered a unique design reflecting the brand's vision - elegance and modernity, emphasizing the naturalness of the products.  
  • Enabled easy operation and management of the store in both the Polish and foreign markets, by creating separate stores for each region.  
  • Provided precise analysis of traffic and effectiveness of marketing campaigns by implementing advanced analytical tools.  
  • mproved order management through integration with the Baselinker system, which enabled easy transfer of orders to fulfillment.  
  • Increased operational efficiency and ensured the highest standards of security and scalability, reducing the limitations of the legacy system.

Challenges included:  

  • Accurately transferring data, including order history and Google tags related to analytics and advertising.  
  • Maintaining continuity of marketing activities without downtime and minimizing the risk of losing vital information.  
  • Providing a consistent, attractive design that will increase conversion rates and enhance customer engagement.

Applied Solutions and Technologies

In response to the requirements, we chose the Shopify platform and implemented a number of solutions to create a comprehensive sales system:

  • Migration to Shopify - smooth data transfer from WooCommerce, with simultaneous creation of two dedicated stores: for the Polish market and for foreign customers.
  • Implementation of advanced analytics - integration of Google tags and analytical tools allowed for precise traffic monitoring and optimization of advertising campaigns.
  • Unique design - we created a modern and responsive graphic design, which attracts the eye, builds trust and emphasizes the prestige of the brand.
  • Store implementation - comprehensive implementation of sales functionality, product management and payment system, ensuring a seamless shopping experience.
  • Testing and analysis - we conducted a series of functional and usability tests to ensure that the system runs quickly and without errors.
  • Integration with Baselinker - implementation of the order management tool streamlined data transfer to fulfillment, increasing operational efficiency.

Implementation Process

  • System implementation - migration of data, implementation of new store functionalities and integration with Baselinker tool.
  • Testing - conducting functional, security and usability tests so that the system runs smoothly.
  • Implementation and training - launching the new system and training the doTERRA team to get the most out of the new platform.
